Hi, I’m Erin!
I’m a Pittsburgh witch, intuitive Tarot reader, self-proclaimed bookworm, and art lover.
I fell in love with Tarot by chance. I was on a work trip in Detroit when I found my first deck, Uusi’s Pagan Otherworlds. I’ve been reading for nearly a decade and truly feel called to read for others. I do not open up many appointments each month in order to make space and bring deliberate energy to each of my clients.
Tarot is my primary means of divination. I’m obsessed with divergent ways of being and knowing, and I’m energized by exploring the web of connections between Tarot, affirmative philosophy, art, culture, and all things awesome and sublime.
What can you expect from a reading with me? My approach is to open space for new opportunities and new paths that are in alignment with where you are now. Readings are entirely about you and your journey and opportunities for expansion, next steps, big ideas, and everything related to your inquiry.
Why Tarot and Potatoes?
I have a background in philosophy, art history, and communication. Many years ago I read Deleuze and Guattari’s A Thousand Plateaus and fell in love with their philosophy of psychoanalysis, multiplicities, and rhizomes. Potatoes are rhizomatic, they are indefinitely growing with unknown connections. Now, are you ready for me to get even more nerdy about it? Deleuze + Guattari’s affirmative philosophy changed how I chose to look at life, our experience in it, and the endless possibilities that it opens for us. Affirmative philosophy connected all of my own musings of the world, of relationships, of understanding, and of knowledge. I’m especially fascinated by images as storytelling tools, and the unique power of images to break down the limitations of words. When words fail, images transcend. The unique link between Tarot and affirmative philosophy is where I find my happy place and guides my approach to each reading.
